'Silent Night' a very popular track for Christmas, was initially written as a poem by an Austrian priest Joseph Mohr in 1816. Silent Night (Stille Nacht) was given by him to his friend Franz Xavier Gruber on the eve of Christmas in a small alpine village called Oberndorf. It is believed that the organ at St. Nicholas Church had broken so, the song was played using a guitar with a sombre tone and it was finished in time for Midnight Mass. But now many popular versions of this song are available. Yolanda, with her amazing voice brought "Silent Night" to life. Filled with a lot of faith and emotion, she made it a very genuine track. A Capella version of "Silent Night" by Go Fish : More Than A Story, is one of her best compilations.

'O Holy Night', penned by Placide Cappeau de Roquemaure in 1847, a wine seller by profession is also one of the most liked Christmas Carol. He obliged a parish priest by writing this beautiful hymn. Adolphe Charles Adams gave a wonderful music to this composition. Since then many artists have given solo performance of this beautiful song. Smokie's smooth voice and passion has added a lot of zeal to this song. Celine Dion had put together her heart and soul and applied the huge sound of her voice to give a entirely different experience of this song! It featured on the 1998 collection of These Are Special Times.

'O Little Town of Bethlehem'
a traditional carol was written by an Episcopal priest Phillips Brooks in 1867. In 1868 Lewis H. Redner gave it the music,  titled "St. Louis". The carol has been sung by  several artists in different music styles. Elvis Presley, Sarah McLachlan, Kenny Chesney and Alabama and many more have released wonderful versions of this composition. Sandi Patty, in her Christmas album Yuletide Joy, has come up with a beautiful rockin' gospel combo of 'O Little Town Of Bethlehem' with 'Jesus Oh What A Wonderful Child'. Another definite holiday favorite, is the Rock Version of the song by Barlow sisters.

'We Wish You A Merry Christmas'
another beautiful track extends our celebrations till New Year. This song has its roots in England. Although, the original author and composer of it remains unknown, it is believed, groups of traveling singers called 'waits' would sing it for food or money. Though conceived way back in 16th century, it is an extremely popular track during Christmas and Holiday Season. The latest version of this carol by The Weavers and The American Boychoir are quite in demand.
